In association with SpoirtFest Ballincollig AFC are happy to announce that the John Aldridge Legends will take on a Ballincollig Legends side on Saturday the 30th of July in the Landing Field, Ballincollig kicking off at 6.00 p.m.
Tickets cost ten Euro and children under the age of 12 are free if accompanied by an adult ticket holder. Tickets are available from Friday the 15th of July in Evan G’s and from Committee members of Ballincollig AFC. If businesses are interested in getting involved or if you require further information contact Michael Gallahue on 087-9839203 or Martin O’Neill on 087-2719179.
The Legends will also be taking part in a poker tournament in Podsie O’Mahony’s Pub later the same evening. It promises to be a great night for all concerned.
We would also ask that if people could bring any old mobile phones they have to the fixture as the club aims to secure a second defibulator in association with Fones 4 Life
Ballincollig Soccer Club’s first fashion show takes place in the Oriel House Hotel on Friday the 1st of October starting at 8 p.m. Tickets will cost 10 EUR on the night and there will be music afterwards. A great chance to help us put right the damage caused by recent vandalism and see local businesses in Ballincollig showing off their designs on all the different members of the clubs in all shapes and sizes. There will be a free cheese and wine reception sponsored by O’Crulaoi Butchers as well. Great night in store so be sure to be there.
During the coming few weeks members of Ballincollig Soccer Club will be collecting door to door in the housing estates around the area. As ever we depend on your support to run one of the largest clubs in the country – more so than ever after the recent set-back caused by the vandalism to our new dressing rooms. Members of the club will have permits so make sure you ask for them if you are in any doubt.
The Fureys
The Fureys play in the Oriel House Hotel on Saturday the 12th of June in association with Ballincollig Soccer Club. Tickets cost 25 EUR and the doors open at 9.00 p.m. If you want to order tickets you can contact the Oriel House on 021-4208400 or any Committee member. Playing all their hits over the course of the night you can be sure you’ll enjoy it and there will be a signed jersey from cross-channel team available as a raffle prize
The Christmas Raffle took place in Healy’s Bar on Monday the 21st Decemeber. Thanks to everyone who sold and bought tickets and to those who provided the prizes. Every little helps with keeping the club going in what is a very tough year both on and off the pitch. The list of winners is below:
